I’m a freelance writer who lives, works and dances in the fine city of Norwich. I’ve been freelancing for just over a year and I absolutely love it, as it allows me the time to concentrate on my own writing projects, and these efforts are finally starting to bear fruit. If you’re wondering what that cryptic comment could mean, then the News page will soon tell all!
I have a degree in English Literature & Politics from the University Of York and a Diploma in Online Journalism from the College Of Media & Publishing. I spent three years as a features contributor for the Eastern Daily Press (EDP), Norwich Evening News and Muddy Stilettos. My articles have appeared online and in print for publications such as Mslexia. I’m currently completing my proofreading and copyediting qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) in preparation for expanding my freelance services.
Writing is, and always will be, my first love, but there’s more to me than that. When I’m not working on my novel (please see the Books page for more information), I can be found organising swing dance and Lindy Hop events around Norfolk, and I also help to run an authentic vintage jazz dance performance troupe. So if you’re out and about and you see a girl with ink-smudged fingers and a flower in her hair, then it could well be me. Please say hello – I’m very friendly and I’m never short of conversation, energy or cheese.
