22.02.2022 – A Day To Remember!
I’m a little giddy to announce that I’ve signed a contract of representation with Nicole Etherington at Hardman & Swainson. I was bowled over by Nicole’s enthusiasm and editorial vision and I can’t wait to see my novel evolve as we work on the revisions together. This is the start of a new and exciting chapter!
Silverfish Longlisted For The Exeter Novel Prize 2020
The best possible start to 2021 was to discover that my second novel, Silverfish, had been longlisted for the Exeter Novel Prize 2020. In a year of record entries, it was wonderful to know that mine stood out from the crowd, especially as I was just heading into the long and painful editing process.
More information on the Exeter Novel Prize can be found on their website. This is an annual competition, so look out for details of next year’s competition and get your opening chapters ready!
The Invisible World Longlisted For The Bridport Prize Peggy Chapman-Andrews Award 2019
After several years of entering various drafts into competitions and fidgeting through the seemingly endless wait for results, it’s happened! The Invisible World was placed on a longlist of 20 from more than 1070 entries and whilst it didn’t make it into the final five, it was a huge confidence boost to see the title on the longlist and the opening chapters printed in the The Bridport Prize Anthology 2019.
Thank you so much to everyone at The Bridport Prize for their hard work in organising the competition and I look forward to reading the rest of the extracts!
